Greenup Newsletter 22: Sensome
Cocreation
This week’s session will be on Cocreation, led by Anandana Kapur.
Here’s a reasonably quick reading as preparation. It’s not from a touchy-feely organization, but from the Harvard Business Review.
The goal of this session is to act as a ladder to our collective imagination process in sessions 7 & 8.
Session Five Video
Here’s the recording from session five - using a shared 3D model to reimagine transportation and the EV transition in Indian cities.
Climate change has the reputation of being abstract, a problem for the future or a problem bigger than all of us. In contrast, traffic jams, pollution and congestion are familiar to most of us. The amazing thing about addressing climate change in the Indian context are that it also helps us reimagine some of the other wicked problems of Indian society.
The cobenefits of addressing climate change and transportation problems should be apparent to most of us: can we shift to electric vehicles and more public transporation to make the quality of our lives better while also reducing emissions?
Even better, can we use this transition for a quadruple co-benefit:
Reduce carbon emissions
Make cities more livable, reduce health impact of pollution
Improve urban governance - make it more democratic and decentralized.
Create and scale new jobs in the sustainable economy?
Here’s what you thought about these questions (link to the document you created during the breakout)
