Greenup Newsletter 21: Cocreation
We had quite the session this past Tuesday on using a 3D environment to get a sense for transportation challenges and how one might imagine a transition to EVs and the political economy of that transition. Lots of interesting ideas to build upon.
I will be sharing notes from that session in the next update.
Equally importantly, Tuesday’s session marked the transition from ‘We’ to ‘Us,’ where I hope we are beginning to see the emergence of a collective imagination of India’s future.
The goal of next week’s session on co-creation is to consolidate this emerging collective consciousness. It will be led by Anandana Kapur:
Anandana Kapur is a filmmaker and social scientist based out of New Delhi, India. She has previously worked in broadcast television and is a published author on Culture, Communication Paradigms and Film Studies. As part of a cultural diversity initiative Anandana holds lectures on Cinema and Culture for exchange students from US, Canada and Europe. She is also a wiki-educator and her latest works include a group exhibition on "Re-envisioning" in Nicosia, Cyprus and the critically acclaimed and award- winning documentary The Great Indian Jugaad. Anandana likes to travel, photograph and collect folklore.
Anandana's documentaries explore the sub-cultures of gender, identity and ritual practice in India. Anandana's films 'Much Ado About Knotting' , 'Chamba Nede Aa ki Door', 'The Great Indian Jugaad' and 'Blood on My Hands' have received awards and critical acclaim.
It’s going to be a lot of fun - I hope you can make it!
